On YouTube, the stream belongs to the platform: it decides which ads to run, how much to pay you and when to take your broadcast down over someone else's music or footage claim. Viewers leave your channel's page and watch competitors' recommendations next to your stream.

How launch works
Launch takes one day. We give you an ingest address for the studio signal or use yours. You add one DNS record for your subdomain and paste one line of player code into your website. After a test broadcast, we open the stream to viewers.
If you currently stream through a third-party CDN or YouTube, the switch happens with no downtime: the new player runs in parallel, and the old one is removed once you've confirmed everything works.

FAQ
How long does onboarding take?
Technically one day: an ingest address, a DNS record for your subdomain and a line of code on your website. Internal approvals at the channel usually take another day or two.
Do we need to change our studio equipment?
No. Any encoder that outputs SRT or RTMP will do, and that covers virtually all modern encoders. If your signal already goes to a server, we can pull it from there.
What happens if the studio loses its internet connection?
The platform reconnects automatically as soon as the signal is back. You can also set up a backup source: when the studio drops, viewers are switched to the backup stream automatically.
Can we stream on YouTube at the same time?
Yes. The platform doesn't interfere with simulcasting to other platforms. Many channels keep YouTube and move their main live stream to their own website.
